Scholarships

The B. B. McKinney and Carroll Lowe Scholarships are awarded annually to two students at Louisiana College (www.lacollege.edu) and two students at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary (www.nobts.edu) who are pursuing a degree towards a career as Minister of Music – Worship Leader.  (Request information for these scholarships).

 

The Singing Men receive an offering at each of the church concerts. This offering does not go to any of the members or for our expenses. All of the offering goes to a trust account administered by the Louisiana Baptist Foundation (www.lbfinfo.org). From this account scholarships are provided for future church music leaders.  On occasion we also have assisted the Louisiana Baptist All-State Youth Choir, LBASYC, in their ministry.
